About this Blog

Hello everyone,
My name is TheLion. I am an Audiophile and a 'Walkman' collector. I have started this blog for all those who share the same interest. On this blog, I will share my love with the world of Personal Stereos. This is limited only to Personal Stereos and Minidisc Players and maybe some other unique gadgets. The common rule with all those Personal Stereos is their State-of-the-Art; High-Quality Sound, Excellent build and Unique design - in other words, Personal Hi-Fidelity Analog music players for the soulful man. The main interest (but not limited to) in Walkmans is AIWA Personal Stereos from their early years' product line from 1984 to 1991. The main interest in Minidiscs (but not limited to) is Sharp Minidiscs. I will post pictures of rare Walkmans and Minidiscs with information. Thank God for making all this possible, I hope you all will enjoy my blog.
Note: I started this blog in 2011 to offer a unique perspective for educational purposes in the world of personal Stereo. I will gladly share most of the info regarding the gadgets displayed on this blog. However, Since this blog consumes a lot of time and great efforts to assemble and maintain as current as possible, I do not get paid or gain (thru advertisement) any money to do so. Hence, I do it in my free time. Therefore, If you enjoy this one of a kind comprehensive blog Please consider a nice donation according to your enjoyment of this blog. your kind support will surely make this blog alive & Kick for years to come, it will also entitle you to a free technical support ie; questions, inquiries, and requests. please drop me a line and I'll be happy to assist ThePersonalHiFi@Gmail.com. Thank you TheLion, September 2017.

Sanyo JJ-P4

SANYO JJ-P4
Headphone Stereo Cassette Player

New Hard Conception

Smaller than a cassette case and light,
We are happy to carry such technology with us.

Adopted a newly developed small model with a diameter of 23mm, the motor is the same size as a 10-yen coin. With A built-in rechargeable battery, this size is surprisingly light. It's so small and fashionable there is also progress in the body. The World's thinnest headphone Stereo is in the palm of your hand.

Even though it is a music mechanism that acts together, what is
required is to be as small and light as possible. Next, it has to be fashionable and It has to be cool because it can be seen by a lot of people. The new JJ-P4 is smaller than a cassette case (vertical x horizontal area ratio). Moreover, including the attached rechargeable battery built into the main body, it weighs about 163g. It is simple and lively even, as an Ace, it's not bulky in your pocket, and it's definitely fashionable even if he's out a little.

Main Features
Direct charge method that allows you to charge while listening while keeping the built-in rechargeable battery. It is a rechargeable type that is nice for those who can't let go of music even for a moment. The battery bill can be saved, and she seems to be saved. With the external charging method, you can charge the battery without removing the rechargeable battery from the main unit and setting it in the charger. Moreover, if you charge while listening to the cassette, you can also charge the spare rechargeable battery at the same time. If you connect the AC adapter that also serves as a charger to the main unit, you will be fine and fully charged. If you commute to work or school, and when you return from the outside, his standby for charging seems to be a daily routine.

High Efficiency
About 9 hours with a rechargeable battery and an alkaline battery. When a rechargeable battery and an AA alkaline battery are used together, the internal resistance of the battery decreases, and the battery life is extended by using them in parallel. This allows about 9 hours of mouth play. It is encouraging to have fun on the train for a short trip. Just by setting his small battery case for AA batteries, it is possible to play constantly thanks to the built-in rechargeable battery. Of course, you can enjoy it for about 2.5 hours with the built-in rechargeable battery (fully charged), and for about 5.5 hours with a single AA alkaline battery. It's okay to take them out more and more.

Smart and sophisticated
Fast forward on both front and back is OK with the fast forward button. Direct direction for constant operation. In the past, the rewind button was used to fast forward the tape, but now the complications are gone. Even during auto-reverse, the direct direction method is adopted, which allows you to press the FFWD button for fast forward and the REW button for rewind, regardless of the direction in which the tape travels. A nice feature that allows you to operate it securely even from your bag or pocket. It is a convenient auto-reverse mechanism that plays continuously.

Hi-Quality Sound System
Since it is a double azimuth head, it pursues high sound quality. This is a small, high-performance audio system. Adopting a double azimuth head that faithfully reproduces the sound recorded on the tape and IC Dolby that suppresses noise, then adopting twin duct stereo earphones that extend the low-frequency reproduction, the possibility of using aluminum for the voice coil is a realization of a different sound than before.

....And beautifully Sexy
In 1987 The JJ-P4 has won the Good Design Award In Japan.
In the same year, the AIWA HS-PX10 won. GDA
