The TEPEE mechanism is based on the concept of the Indian Tepee tent, which is "durable provides warmth and comfort in winter, it is cool in the heat of summer, and is dry during heavy rains. Tepees can be disassembled and packed away quickly when people need to relocate and can be reconstructed quickly upon settling in a new area" {Wiki}. The Victor tepee design also offers great durability, it's compact in design and offers quick packing for traveling.
